Owner and head chef Emerson has had a career in the hospitality industry for over 25 years, gaining extensive experience in hotels, resorts and guest houses. Emerson has worked across a broad range of culinary arenas, running fine dining restaurants, catering concerts and providing intimate dining experiences for weddings and private functions.
Before opening his own venture in 2009, Emerson worked as the Executive Chef of Peppers Hunter Valley, managing three of the busiest venues in the region.
Emerson has a passion for flavour which he demonstrates through seasonal menus promoting locally sourced produce.
Grateful for doing what he loves, Emerson is committed to producing consistently delicious dishes for his loyal customers. Married with Adina’s award winning wines, Emerson’s food showcases Hunter produce and his dedicated staff will make you feel welcome and relaxed.
